⛱️ Skoda Octavia Drivers Door Lock Problems

I took the loom out of the door, took all that black tape off, all looks OK , checked continuity of all the cables, all OK. Checked and cleaned all connections, put the loom back in after wrapping it in tape, tried the window, it worked for about 5 minutes. Disconnected the motor reconnected it worked for 5 minutes.
You need to adjust the door pull cord on handle, prise out the clip and adjust accordingly (this will make sense if you look at it) then refit metal lock barrel replacement and do up 2 screws accordingly. Finally fit new plastic trim blank. Thats it iirc, hope that helps a bit.
Skoda Yeti at 2 years old, started to have problems connecting the passenger car door lock. It is set on automatic locking while moving and you can hear it trying to lock, a medium grinding sound, while driving. Occasionally it locks and stays locked. It is random and I presume once it makes the connection it struggles to unlock itself.

Skoda ovtavia fob only opens drivers door. Check your car setup. Read the manual on MAXI DOT and look for Main Menu > Settings > Comfort > Central Locking. Within the Comfort menu you can also reset to factory which should set central locking to automatic. I hope this helps.
